REDEFINING THE WAY TO SEE THE NATURAL WORLD
AN INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY FOR ALL WHO ARE
WELCOME TO THE PLACE IN LATIN AMERICA WHERE COMMUNITY LEADERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD COME TOGETHER
For the first time in Latin America there is a place for all exponents in multiple media and conservation disciplines to meet, bringing the corporate world and the scientific world together through our four fundamental pillars: conference, exhibition, competition and awards.
In addition to the world´s leading companies exhibiting the latest technologies in film equipment, photography, computers or editing programs, Latin American NGOs will showcase their works and products available to the general public, supporting their important conservation efforts of our natural world. Technology and science come together in one place to bring you the right tools for developing your project.
A series of talks on topics ranging from marketing of documentary films to photography and filming techniques to achieve those unique images that will make your project stand out will be available throughout the Festival, as well as presentations on the latest conservation efforts by leading scientists and conservationists in the region.
The Nature Awards is a joint effort to encourage and expand the production of documentaries, photographs, illustrations, and other media promoting awareness and knowledge of our flora, fauna and the environment in traditional and virtual media platforms, without neglecting the importance of their conservation while seeking to address issues of global interest in a time of crisis.
In this first edition, seven categories will be available for individuals, producers, or institutions from around the world to participate in, according to the rules and regulations of the competition.
The Awards Ceremony is the culminating event of the Festival. The ceremony will be held at the Chile Channel studios and will be broadcasted live worldwide. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each category in the competition, while the top prize is reserved for the best of the Festival. An honorary mention in recognition of outstanding contributions related to conservation in science or the media will be awarded to a distinguished professional.
